Tim Wild

Tim is a Chartered Accountant in public practice and has been a Director of BWTL for over 25 years. He specialises in financial and strategic planning, trusts, IFRS reporting and international taxation and delivers high quality advice and service. Tim’s experience and knowledge makes him an expert advisor for businesses on commercial and compliance matters, and mentor for staff, clients and the local community.
Away from the office Tim is often on his mountain bike, is a trustee of the Rotorua Trails trust and is a judge for the Rotorua Business awards.
Charlotte Porter
Client Advisor/Owner B Bus
Charlotte joined BWTL Advisory as an Associate in April 2024, with over 35 years of experience in Accounting firms, and Public Practice of varying sizes.
During this time, Charlotte gained some diverse business service experience across a range of industries and services, including rural. She also gained significant audit experience.
Her roles in firms across the Bay of Plenty and Auckland has provided her with a vast experience and expertise in a diverse range of business situations, enabling her to understand businesses at the ground level.
Charlotte is the advisor working with clients to develop strategies and plans proactively and collaboratively to achieve the best outcome.
Charlotte and the Team are here to handle your business and day to day business tasks, so business owners can focus on more productive aspects of the business.
She is a mentor to both staff and clients.
Away from the office, Charlotte is an endurance athlete, always in training for the next Ironman or Marathon event.
David Watt

David shares his passion for business with a broad range of clients and with many years of experience he loves to help resolve more complex issues and solutions.
Janine Thomas
Client Manager CA, BMS (Hons)
Janine is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Raised on a farm in the BOP, she understands the rural sector well, and is a specialist in tax and GST for businesses. She is also an expert in business valuations, cash flow forecasting and budgeting. She has a passion for helping local businesses succeed.
With a love of the outdoors, she is an experienced tramper and mountain-biker and has made the most of raising her family in Rotorua.
Karen Prichard

Karen comes to us with over 10 years accounting experience. Karen enjoys getting to know her clients and helping them with any accounting related things they need as well as preparing their annual accounts and tax returns. Also by taking over some of the day to day activities she hopes to free them up so they can concentrate on more important parts of their business and hopefully have a better work and lifestyle balance.

Ashleigh is midway through studying towards her Bachelor of Accounting and has experience with financial account preparation, GST, payroll and client admin. She has a busy role both in-house and at home with her active family.

Cass is our Operations Co-ordinator. Rotorua born and bred, she's always up for a chat!
Summer Coulson
Accounting Support
Summer is a member of our accounting team who prepares financial accounts, tax returns and client GST returns. She also provides support to the senior accountants and admin team.
Alex Vincent
Accounting Support
Alex is a junior member of our accounting team providing support our Client Managers and preparing the groundwork for financial accounts. Alex is studying towards her Bachelor of Accounting through Massey University extramurally and will concurrently step into a trainee accounting role.
